At the beginning of 2022, Akra Hotels was awarded the "Great Workplace Certificate", ranked third in Turkey in the "Best Employer 500-1000 Employees" category in 2022, fourth in Turkey in 2023, second in Turkey in the "Great Workplaces for Women" category, and was included in Europe's Best Employers™ List.
Turkey's Best Employers™ 2023 List, which consists of companies that make a difference in the employee experience, is announced each year with the analysis of Great Place To Work®, which is recognized as the authority on company culture and employee experience on a global scale.
Among the companies included in the research, Akra Hotels met the Great Place To Work® Global standards as a first step and was awarded the Great Place To Work® certificate. In the next step, Akra Hotels ranked fourth in the 500-1,000 employees category in the 2023 Turkey's Best Employers™ list announced by Great Place To Work® and was awarded the title of Turkey's Best Employer™.
The research, conducted by Great Place To Work® to global standards, includes an anonymous survey called the Trust Index™, which collects feedback from Akra Hotels employees about their experiences and evaluates the company's practices in the areas of trust, effective leadership, values, developing employee potential and innovation based on the Great Place To Work® For All methodology.
Great Place To Work® certification and the title of Turkey's Best Employer™ provides global recognition that Akra Hotels provides a great workplace experience for its employees, creates an area of attraction for new talent in recruiting for Akra Hotels, and strengthens the sense of loyalty and belonging for Akra Hotels employees with this important achievement that they can be proud of and celebrate together.
Turkey's Best Employer Award, which was presented on Tuesday evening, May 9, at the Hilton Bomonti in Istanbul, is also a strong indicator of Akra Hotels' efforts to set a good example for the sector by investing in the hospitality industry to increase the number of qualified employees and improve the quality of life of people working in this field.
